Ready to get started with your chiropractic care? Here is what you can expect before, during, and after your first visit.
When you call the schedule your first appointment, our friendly Front Desk Associate will gather basic information from you, including birth date, phone number, and insurance information. We offer every new patient a free insurance verification so he or she is aware of the cost prior to receiving care. The Front Desk will also request your email address so that we may send you the new patient form. By completing the form, prior to your first visit, you will save time. In many cases, we are able to do same or next day appointments.
Each time you come into the office you will check in and describe your symptoms using our touch screen system. At your first visit, the Front Desk Associate will help you check in. Once you have checked in, the New Patient Advocate will meet with you to review your past history and understand what brings you to the office. After the review, the Advocate will take your blood pressure and measure your range of motion in your neck and back. If x-rays are needed, they will be taken in the office and processed at this time. Many insurance companies do not cover x-rays taken in a chiropractic office. If this is true for your insurance carrier, we will write you an x-ray script so you can have them taken where they are covered.
After the review, you will meet with Dr. Lenny for your Detailed New Patient Exam. He will review your history, perform extensive orthopedic tests, and then review your x-rays, if available. After all the information has been examined, he will treat you. Dr. Roberts performs a variety of treatment techniques in order to give the best result. After your treatment, it is recommended that you ice for 5-10 minutes. We provide ice packets for our patients to use in the office.
After your treatment, you will proceed to Front Desk to make payment and schedule your next visit. During your second visit, the Doctor will review with you the results of your x-rays and recommended treatment plan and answer any questions you may have about your care.
